Local ICs absorb nearly 80 projects

The whole province, as of September 2016, had a total of 9 industrial compounds (ICs) licensed with 636.9 hectares in total.

Among them, there are now five with stability in operation, comprising of Binh Chuan, An Thanh, Tan Dong Hiep, Thanh Pho Dep Joint Stock Company and Thanh An; four under construction, including Uyen Hung, Tan My, Phu Chanh and Tam Lap.

In general, province-based ICs have worked stably and attracted 78 projects with more than 27,000 laborers. The Ministry of Industry and Trade has also mapped out a draft plan on ICs management and when being promulgated, it will create more advantageous conditions for enterprises to make investment in ICs infrastructure, contributing to helping the province absorb more investors.
