According to provincial Industrial Parks’ (IPs) Management Board, the local IPs have so far leased 7,026.11 hectares of industrial land, with the tenancy rate of 93.14%.
The total number of Ips planned in the province is 33 with a total planning area of 14,790 hectares. Provincial IPs’ Management Board continues being assigned to manage 29 IPs, with a total planned area of 12,662.81 hectares. Among them, there are 28 IPs in operation with a total area of 11,962.81 hectares. Particularly, Cay Truong IP has been approved by provincial People's Committee for the general construction planning of the scale 1/5,000 with an area of 700 hectares and is implementing the next steps to put it into operation.
Binh Duong is setting the local planning for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050. It is expected to continue new investment and expansion of existing IPs towards higher standards of science, technology, environmental protection, attaching special importance to attracting industries that bring high added value at international investors’s stricter and stricter standards.
