Local leaders pay Tet visits to local superior monks, pastors and bishops
On
Jan. 21, on behalf of the provincial party committee, the provincial People’s
Council chairman Vu Minh Sang paid a Tet wishing visit to superior monk Thich
Hue Thong, head of the provincial Buddhism Society. Sang expressed his love and
attention to achievements of Buddhism over years and affirmed leadership role
of Buddhism in the community. Sang extended new year wishes to the superior
monk and hoped that Buddhism would attach further to Ho Chi Minh thought in a
bid to build a foundation on morality and culture for the national great unity
bloc.

Duong towards industrialization and modernization. the

Also the same day, Vu Minh Sang also paid a Tet wishing visit to bishop Tran Dinh Tu in Phu Cuong Diocese, Thu Dau Mot town. Accordingly, Sang highly valued bishop Tran Dinh Tu’s important contributions in helping Catholics build a healthy life and obey the Party and State’s instructions and policies.

Catholics, bishop Tran Dinh Tu extended Tet wishes to the provincial party
committee and hoped to enjoy more local leaders’ attention and pledged to excel
the work of building the national great unity bloc. Tran
Duc Thinh, head of the provincial religion committee grants Tet gifts to pastor
Tran Van Hien.
Also the same day, a delegation led by Tran Duc Thinh, head of the provincial religion committee paid a Tet wishing visit to pastor Tran Van Hien, rep of South Vietnam Christian Church in Binh Duong. Thinh extended new year wishes to the pastor and Christian believers. On the occasion, the Government’s Religion Committee and the provincial party committee sent Tet gifts to Binh Duong Christian Church.
