Local tourism sector welcomes 1.6 million tourists

The province’s tourism sector in 2020 faced difficulties, due to Covid-19 pandemic. Accordingly, the sector only welcomed 1.6million tourists or 30% of the year’s plan (down 68% compared to the same period last year). The sector’s total revenue was estimated at VND615billion or 41% of the year’s plan (down 57.3% against the same period last year).
