Local voters propose urgent and unresolved matters to NA delegates

In the morning of November 24, Binh Duong provincial National Assembly Delegation of Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnamese People's Army, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Mr. Le Van Kham, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Social Committee, Priest Nguyen Van Rien, Chairman of the Catholic Solidarity Committee of Binh Duong province had a meeting with voters in Ben Cat town and Bau Bang district.

During this voter meeting, voters of Ben Cat town and Bau Bang district had many opinions and recommendations related to the issues such as the continual textbook reforms that caused waste, the rapid increment of gasoline prices that affects people's lives, the need to deal with some individuals who adversely affect cyberspace, some regulations in the field of land that are still inadequate and need revising in accordance with real life, the issues of citizen identification to people who need it quickly and on time, the continual care of the material and spiritual life of people with meritorious services, the pension for cadres and civil servants needs adjusting to suit the current reality of life.

* In the morning of the same day, the provincial NA Delegation met voters at Dong Hoa ward, Binh An ward, and Binh Thang ward of Di An city.

After listening to the National Assembly deputies briefly present the contents of the 2nd session of the 15th National Assembly, voters highly appreciated the results of the agenda of the session and the efforts and determination of the whole nation in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic. Voters also raised a number of issues such as proactive supply of vaccines, price of COVID-19 testing services to ensure consistency, strict sanctions on taking advantage of price increment, bidding for COVID-19 testing services, buying and selling medical supplies in service of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control.

The education reform still reveals many limitations that are not as expected; traffic disorder and safety still exist; the granting land use right certificates in a number of residential projects remains problematic.

* In the afternoon of November 24, the provincial NA Delegation of Mr. Pham Trong Nhan, Deputy Head of the provincial NA Delegation, Captain Vu Huy Khanh, permanent Member of NA’s Committee for National Defense and Security, and Mrs. Nguyen Hoang Bao Tran, Deputy Chairwoman of the provincial Trade Union met voters at Binh Nham ward and An Son commune in Thuan An city.

After listening to the National Assembly delegates announce the results of the 2nd session of the 15th National Assembly, voters raised a number of issues about the appropriate payment of benefits for those affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, the strengthening of management of the price of COVID-19 testing kits at medical facilities, solutions to bring workers back to Binh Duong among others.

Voters' opinions and recommendations were explained by local authorities at the meeting while the unanswered issues have been recognized by the National Assembly Delegation to be transferred to the National Assembly, the government and local authorities in order to promptly resolve.
