The province’s woodwork export turnover over the past 10 years reached more than US$1,050.2mln, up 8.6% compared to the corresponding period of last year or 16.1% of the province’s total export turnover.

 Province-based woodwork businesses’ products have so far exported to more than 100 countries and territories with Asia and North America and Europe that are seen as their main export markets. But, their current challenge is the price increase of imported materials by 180% against the previous year while the export price of woodwork products has seen a little increase.

 Also during the time, the province’s garment-textile export turnover secured US$1,006.4mln, up 9.6% against last year’s same period. This is the 4th consecutive year the province’s woodwork export turnover has exceeded US$1bln and this is also the 3rd consecutive year the province’s garment-textile export turnover has exceeded US$1bln.
