Local youth take in the “return to the root” trip on occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day

The Youth Union of General Co-ordination Office under provincial Anti-fire Police Department in collaboration with provincial Youth Union has just kicked off a “return to the root” trip for 40 Youth Union members on the occasion of the 66th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947-July 27, 2013).

During the “return to the root” trip, participating Youth Union members visited and presented gifts to the families of war invalids, martyrs and Vietnamese heroic mothers in TDM city’s Chanh Nghia ward and Thuan An town’s Binh Hoa and Thuan Giao wards.

The Youth Union also burned incense to commemorate heroes and martyrs at Thuan An Hoa war zone’s monument; organized an exchange program for Youth Union members, a talkshow with revoluntionary veterans to educate Youth Union members’political thoughts and improve their revolutionary awareness.
