Localities announce newly-elected People’s Council deputies

 The Ca Mau provincial Election Committee on May 29 made public the list of 54 newly-elected deputies for the provincial People’s Council 2011-2016 term.

Fourteen of those elected are females, four are from ethnic minority groups, three are religious followers, and three are non-Party members.

** On the same day, Nguyen Van Danh, chairman of the Tien Giang Election Committee, signed the decision to announce the list of 64 elected deputies, 14 of whom are female, six are non-Party members, three are religious followers. There is also an ethnic deputy and a young deputy.

** A day earlier, Thanh Hoa and Binh Duong provinces also announce their list of deputies for the 2011-2016 term of the provincial People’s Councils.
