Long An’s delegation learns about market socialization in Binh Duong

Early March 6, a delegation of cadres of Long An province’s industry-trade sector paid a working visit to Binh Duong province’s Department of Industry and Trade (DoIT) to learn about investment attraction under the socialization form and street market management.

According to provincial DoIT, in 2011, provincial People’s Committee approved a plan on developing a network of markets, supermarkets and plazas till 2020. The implementation of the plan has significantly contributed to the local socio-economic development. The whole province is now home to 106 markets, including 80 invested under the socialization form. To achieve this result, provincial DoIT made efforts in market management and exploitation; considered and set up 32 temporary markets….

The same day, the delegation also visited a model of Tan Thanh food safety and hygiene market in North Tan Uyen district.
