Ly Ngoc Minh wins first prize in provincial "Good Grassroots Youth Union Secretary” contest

On the afternoon of September 30, provincial Youth Union held the final round of the 2023 provincial "Good Grassroots Youth Union Secretary” contest.

Accordingly, 20 grassroots Youth Union secretaries experienced the "Grassroots Youth Union Secretary-Wisdom" exam with answering multiple-choice questions. The exam content was about the Resolution of the 12th National Youth Union Congress; skills, practical situations of Youth Union work and teenagers-children’s movements... After this contest, the Organization Board selected 6 candidates for the contest "Grassroots Youth Union Secretary - Bravery".

Finally, the Organization Board awarded the first prize to Ly Ngoc Minh, Secretary of Hiep Thanh ward’s Youth Union in Thu Dau Mot city; awarded second, third and consolation prizes to excellent contestants at the competition.

At the competition, provincial Youth Union awarded the certificates of commendation to 4 grassroots Youth Union secretaries and 2 units participating in the weekly competition round while awarding the certificates of the 2023 provincial Good Grassroots Youth Union Secretary to 20 candidates participating in the final round.

*On the afternoon of the same day, authorized by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, representative of provincial Youth Union awarded the "Youth living beautifully" award from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union to Le Anh Tuan, member of Thu Dau Mot city’s Youth Union.

At the award giving ceremony, Nguyen Thanh Thao, Vice-Secretary of provincial Youth Union, Chairman of provincial Youth Federation spoke highly of Le Anh Tuan's actions while believing that he will constantly strive to continue the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Youth Federation.

It is known that over the past 2 years, Mr. Tuan realized nearly 400 free ambulance trips, promptly taking victims to the hospital. During the day, he helps his parents sell goods at Thu Dau Mot market. And at night, he drives around streets to detect traffic accidents in order to take victims to the hospital...

The "Youth Living Beautifully" award is a reward from the Central Committee of Vietnam Youth Union for outstanding young people who have noble deeds, showing the spirit of solidarity, “mutual love, mutual affection” and sharing difficulties with the community, bringing positive energy to the society in general and teenagers-children in particular.
