Man fined VND 7.5 million for posting offensive news to traffic police

Major Trieu Hoai Bao, Head of the Traffic Police Team under Bau Bang district’s Police Agency said that implementing a peak campaign to ensure traffic safety for students going to school, the district’s police force detected C.P.D.L, a student of Bau Bang High School using a motorbike with violations on the provisions of the Road Traffic Law. Therefore, they made a record to handle this wrong case. However, C.H.L, a relative of the student posted insults to the local traffic police on his Facebook page.

Right after that, Mr. L. was invited to the headquarters of Bau Bang district’s Police Agency to clarify the above behavior. At the district’s police headquarters, he admitted his wrongdoing, removed his offensive contents from Facebook page and paid a fine of VND 7.5 million.
