Many activities celebrate Vietnamese Teachers’ Day

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (Nov. 20, 1982-2012) units and schools across the province have held many activities to mark the event.

Units and schools have initiated emulation movements of good teaching and learning, held contests on culture, art, sport, creating useful playgrounds for teachers. In addition, schools have organized contests on flower arrangement and so on for students.

From now till Nov. 20, units have held get-togethers to honor excellent teachers winning prizes at contests for good teachers. Additionally, People’s Committees across communes and wards have planned to hold grateful ceremonies for teachers.

Recently, the provincial People’s Committee has delivered an instruction on holding anniversaries on the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day to honor and recognize local teachers’ dedication.
