Many activities to mark 65th anniversary of "Phu Loi- day of hatred to be held

Provincial People's Committee has just issued a plan on organizing activities to mark the 65th anniversary of the Phu Loi- day of hatred (December 1, 1958 - December 1, 2023).

 The celebration is held to commemorate the noble sacrifices of generations of revolutionary soldiers who were captured and imprisoned by the enemy in the prison system of the US - puppet regime, thereby propagandizing revolutionary history, raising awareness and pride in the fighting tradition of Binh Duong’s army and people, and cultivating people's confidence in the Party's leadership. The celebration also affirms the historical significance of the event "Phu Loi with hatred", honoring the great contributions and sacrifices by generations of revolutionary soldiers captured and imprisoned by the enemy in the prison system of the the US - puppet regime; traditional patriotic education, heroic fighting spirit of the forefathers among today's young generation, contributing to upholding the value of the national historical monument of Phu Loi Prison. The 65th anniversary of the " Phu Loi-day of hatred" will be held in a solemn spirit, ensuring practicality, safety, thrift and efficiency. Accordingly, there will be many activities towards this event such as propagandizing; displaying, exhibiting, organizing exchanges, visiting and learning about the history of Phu Loi Prison relic and the 65th anniversary of the "Phu Loi- day of hatred”.

It is expected that the ceremony to mark the 65th anniversary of the "Phu Loi- day of hatred" will take place on December 1, 2023, at the Phu Loi Prison Historic Site. In this event, there will be an incense offering ceremony, the screening of a documentary film on "Memoirs of the steadfast and indomitable revolutionary soldiers at Phu Loi Prison in Binh Duong province"; the announcement of the decision conferring the title "Hero of the People's Armed Forces" to the collective of revolutionary cadres and soldiers captured and imprisoned by the enemy at Phu Loi Prison.
