“One-stop door” officers in Thuan An city’s Vinh Phu ward handle documents via messages on Zalo

Indeed, the province’s implementation of Zalo application in reforming administrative procedures over the past time better served the local people. It also helped enhance the interaction between people and the local government on the internet environment. Specifically, at the People's Committee of Vinh Phu ward, Thuan An city issued the Notice No. 379 / TB-UBND on the extraction of birth, marriage and death records through the Zalo application.

With this initiative, if wanting to be granted copies on birth registration, marriage registration, death registration, people only need to take photo of the original papers or copies of birth registration, marriage registration, death registration issued by the People's Committee of Vinh Phu ward, then send them to the ward’s department of receiving and returning the results of documents via Zalo. After that, cadres who are in charge of the ward’s birth, marriage and death records are responsible for checking registers of births,  marriages and deaths, extracting  copies. And people only need to come up once to receive their copies.

At the People's Committee of Phu Tho ward in Thu Dau Mot city, the  ward’s "one-stop door" department has also applied Zalo through the phone numbers of the staff in charge of records to process dossiers for people and organizations. Meanwhile, the People's Committee of An Thanh ward in Thuan An city has applied Zalo to process documents in order to limit the crowds of people at the “one-stop door” department and save time and costs, while still ensuring that people will receive results opportunely and accurately. This is a good way of communes and wards when the whole country has joined hands in Covid-19 prevention and control, gradually moving towards a digital government in the future, meeting the common development requirements of the province.

At the provincial level, through the Zalo, people and businesses can look up documents by receipt code or QR code, helping track, receive notification of the status of processing documents. They can submit and receive administrative documents, pay fees by post and bank without the need for administrative units.

Tran Long Phi, residing in Ben Cat town’s My Phuoc ward said that he received a message processing documents via Zalo from the local administration and this is very helpful and should be promoted. "To participate in online public administrative services at levels 3 and 4 simply and conveniently, people can use mobile devices with Zalo application to submit records online’, he added.

E-government, digital government and Zalo application are a step towards realizing the goal of perfecting the foundation of e-government building, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the State administrative apparatus and quality of service for people and businesses.
