Many businesses show gratefulness to workers at year-end

On occasion of Tet holiday, trade unions at all levels collaborated with Directors Board of enterprises to organize a series of gratitude activities to employees. Warm parties, gatherings to vibrant music shows and sports events cheer workers up.

Warm parties

Yin Hwa Company (Dong An Industrial Park) was brilliantly decorated with a stage. There were hundreds of tables neatly arranged, which were ready to welcome valuable guests from workshops. Year-end party to thank their employees hosted at the company brought a warm reuniting atmosphere. After the company's leader's speech of thanking employees, workers gave their own music performances, which were so vibrant.

A special part of this party was a lucky draw program with valuable gifts such as: Televisions, motorbikes, refrigerators, and hundreds of gifts, which were household appliances. Employees walked to the stage center to draw lots. The valuable gifts along with cheers of the winners made the party even more exciting. Almost all participants won prizes, only differing in the value of each gift. In addition to the lucky draw, employees also took in a Q&A competition about Labor Law and Trade Union Law. Ms. Truong Thi Thuy, which is a worker of the company, said: “The company strives to take care of employees, every year the company organizes year-end party and has many preferential policies for skilled employees. This year, the company gave high Tet bonuses, so we are excited, and want to stay at the company for a long time”.

These days, companies are busy preparing for year-end parties, cultural and arts programs, giving gifts to workers. At Pung Kook Saigon 3 Company (Thuan An Township), a year-end banquet were prepared carefully to welcome their employees. Kim Doo Hoon, CEO of the company, said: “This meaningful year-end party is to summarize the past year and is ready for the new year. On this occasion, all employees of the company had an opportunity to meet and express their feelings, and above all, this was the concern of Directors Board and trade union for employees, who have accompanied and stood side by side with the business over years".

Diverse activities

For the purpose of organizing cultural and spiritual activities before, during and after Lunar New Year, trade unions at all levels strove to make achievements. For example, Trade Union of Rochdale Spears Company (Tan Uyen Town) held a successful music art contest. Hundreds of music performances with singles, duets, group singing, dances etc. were performed by workers of the factory. All contestants and audiences immersed themselves in songs and melodies, which all connected the souls of migrant workers.

Earlier, at Framas Company (Song Than 2 Industrial Park) also held a sports event for workers. This event attracted hundreds of athletes, who are officials, trade union members, workers in the company. Competitions included sack race, tug of war, slow cycling and football. It is known that this was a traditional activity held every year by trade union to create a healthy and rewarding playground for employees.
