Many cultural and artistic activities celebrate April 30 holiday

To mark the 40^th anniversary of the Southern liberation and national unification day (April 30, 1975-2015), the 129^th anniversary of May Day (May, 1,1886-2015), many areas in the province have held cultural and artistic activities to cater for local residents.

One of the highlighted deeds include artistic program themed “Country overwhelms joy” that took place at the provincial administration center. The program was organized thoroughly, gathering numerous famous artists from the HCMC such as Dam Vinh Hung, Quang Linh, Thanh Thuy, Cao Thai Son, Anh Bang, Ha Tram and more.

Many public stages across districts, towns and Thu Dau Mot city also became lively with many unique and significant items. With programs named unification song of Phu Giao district, independent song of Thuan An town, country overwhelms joy of Di An town re-appear pain, loss of wars of yore and more.

In addition, these programs included familiar songs attached to historic stages including Loi Bac Ho rung chuyen bon phuong, Nam bo khang chien, Nguoi nu dan quant u ve mien Dong, Tien ve Sai Gon, Giai phong mien Nam, Dat nuoc tron niem vui and more. Every song shows pride and tradition of Vietnamese land and people.
