In addition to taking care of people’s lives and celebrate Tet fully and thoughtfully, "leaving no one behind", during the Tet holidays 2024, many cultural, artistic, sports, entertainment, and exciting activities will take place everywhere in the province to serve local people and tourists coming to Binh Duong for spring vacation.

Le Van Thai, Deputy Director of Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said that for the Lunar New Year holiday 2024, the department had advised Provincial People's Committee to organize a series of cultural, artistic, sports, street decoration activities to create a joyful and animated atmosphere to welcome the new spring. From February 8 to 14 (i.e. from the 29th of the twelfth month of the Year of the Cat 2023 to the end of the 5th of the Lunar New Year of the Dragon 2024), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will coordinate with relevant units to organize the Spring Flower Festival and activities to celebrate the Party - to celebrate the Year of the Dragon 2024 at Provincial Administrative Center Park area.

The Spring Flower Festival will take place from the 29th day of the lunar December to the 4th day of the lunar January, gather about 700 pieces from 100 artisans inside and outside the province sent for display and competition, serving people who come to enjoy the spring. The highlight in the Spring Flower Festival and activities to celebrate the Party and Spring 2024 is the flower streets. This year's flower streets will be decorated with flowers, miniatures, and colored lights to celebrate the new year with the theme "Binh Duong spring of convergence". These days, construction units are rushing to carry out final works to complete and put into service according to the plan.

In an open space, along with spring celebration activities at Provincial Administrative Center Park, Provincial Library will open the Tet 2024 Spring Press Exhibition to introduce innovative achievements of the province and country in all fields. Nguyen Van Hue, Director of Provincial Library, said that this year's Spring Press Exhibition will take place from February 6 to 14 (the 27th of the lunar December to the 5th of the lunar January). The Spring Press Exhibition is a festival to promote journalistic products combined with labor and creative activities, honor the achievements of journalists, meet the increasing demand for information, create a joyful atmosphere, celebrate the Party, celebrate spring, and create a jubilant space for people during the Lunar New Year holidays.

According to the plan, this year's Spring Press fair will display spring newspapers of the Central Government, spring newspapers of 63 provinces and cities nationwide... In addition, in the Spring Newspaper Fair space, Provincial Library will also display and exhibit 1,000 documents on the Party, Uncle Ho, spring, traditional Tet, Vietnamese festival culture, new books, good books about Binh Duong and thousands of copies of books on other topics. In addition to exhibitions of books, spring newspapers, and magazines, this year's Spring Newspaper Fair will also hold many activities, such as: tea - book space, folk culture booth with activities, such as spring calligraphy, artistic wood carving, folk games... to create an exciting atmosphere to serve tourists.

In order to introduce destinations as well as tourism products and services of Binh Duong to a large number of people and tourists from near and far, also in the Spring Flower Festival and Party celebration - Spring celebration activities this year, Provincial Tourism Promotion Center will organize a program "Spring Travel in Binh Duong 2024”. Nguyen Duc Minh, Director of Provincial Tourism Promotion Center, said that the center will open a space to provide information, combined with the presentation of promotional videos, images of Binh Duong tourism and products, traditional craft village products of the province, such as lacquer, ceramics, bamboo and rattan, wooden clogs...

In addition, the center also compiled, designed and printed the publication "Binh Duong Spring Travel" to introduce spring fun spots in Binh Duong opened by the province during the Lunar New Year holidays, and spring fun activities organized by tourism business units during and after the Lunar New Year. In addition, the center also organizes a space to introduce traditional craft villages of the province; organizes nightly activities to attract visitors, such as: drawing and coloring Binh Duong tourist destinations on wood, painting piggy banks, blowing bubbles, henna drawing...

Thai added that, in addition to the above activities, there will also be an exhibition of images, documents and artifacts themed "The Party with Spring" to introduce to the masses the milestones of the Party Committee and people of Binh Duong province on the path of innovation, integration and development; achievements in economic, cultural, social, defense and security development of Binh Duong province over the past 27 years. In particular, a New Year's Eve program will take place with a special cultural art program and fireworks show to celebrate the new year. In addition to the program on the New Year's Eve, on the nights from the 1st to the 4th day of the 2024 Tet Festival, in Provincial Administrative Center Park area, there will also be special art programs, music performances, light shows to serve the entertainment and recreation demands of residents and tourists.
