Many people in Phu Giao participate in voluntary blood donation

Phu Giao district’s Steering Board for Voluntary Blood Donation Mobilization has just coordinated with Ho Chi Minh city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Blood Transfusion Center to organize the 8th voluntary blood donation round of 2023.

With the noble meaning of donating blood to save lives, the blood donation campaign attracted the participation of more than 350 officials, civil servants, employees of agencies, departments, mass organizations unions and people in the district. Through health screening, the organizers received 320 units of blood with each unit of 350ml of blood, equivalent to 112,000ml of blood. This amount of blood will actively contribute to the treatment of patients in need of blood in the near future.
