Marking Vietnamese Sports Day: to promote physical training and sports

People are taking more care for their physical healthiness as literacy and economic life is being improved.To promote public physical training movements of “be healthy to protect the nation” and “physical training following Uncle Ho’s model”, the authority of culture, sports, and tourism has coordinated with other sectors to boost up investment. Constructions are made to offer more facilities for physical training. As a result, the youths, students, and workers in all fields have been now attracted to the movements which have spreaded even to older generation.In fact, more investment should be made to construct play grounds for the public. Up to date, communes and townlets in Binh Duong are equipped with sports courts.To diversify resources, the authority has called upon the people and units to donate to construction of facilities and institutions of sports. Accordingly, over 130 mini soccer courts, 90 volley ball courts, and courts for table tennis, tennis, swimming, and others have been built.Mr. Phan Van Lam – Director of Sports Center, affirmed that socialization of sports activities could promote potentials for sports development.
