Meaningful activities kick off Workers’ Month 2025
To kick off the Workers’ Month 2025, trade unions at the district level in the province have recently collaborated with local units and enterprises to organize a wide range of meaningful activities, including sports events, games and gift-giving programs for workers with difficult circumstances.

In Thu Dau Mot city, the city’s Labor Union launched the 2025 Mini Football Tournament for public employees and workers, attracting the participation of over 400 trade unionists and workers, creating a fun and healthy playground.
In Di An city, the grassroots trade union of Gold Coin Feedmill Binh Duong Co., Ltd. hosted a sports festival featuring tug-of-war, bag jumping, blindfolded goat catching and three-legged races. Meanwhile, the grassroots trade union of Chang Shuen Co., Ltd. held a football tournament for workers and trade unionists. The Standing Board of Di An city’s Labor Union also coordinated with local enterprises to organize a four-team football tournament, fostering unity and joy among hundreds of workers.
In Thuan An city, the grassroots trade union of Shyang Hung Cheng Co., Ltd. organized a large-scale sports festival involving thousands of workers participating in volleyball, football, tug-of-war... The event aimed at strengthening solidarity and interaction among workers. Meanwhile, Tan Uyen city’s Labor Union partnered with the local authorities to host a Chôl Chnăm Thmây traditional New Year celebration for Khmer ethnic workers living and working in the area. The event included fashion shows, stilts-walking, cooking competitions, traditional costume showcases and the distribution of hundreds of gifts to underprivileged workers.
According to provincial Labor Union, the Workers’ Month 2025 will not only include entertainment and welfare activities for disadvantaged workers, but also focus on meaningful programes, namely the “Creative Workers – Confidently Entering the New Era” program, the “May Dialogue”, the “Thank You, Workers” campaign and an intensive drive to admit new trade unionists, establish new grassroots trade unions, promote Party membership among workers…
