Medical isolation for people from pandemic-hit areas

On June 23, the Ministry of Health issued the Official Dispatch No. 5051/BYT-MT requiring medical isolation for people returning from Covid-19-hit areas.

The official dispatch has requested the Chairpersons of provincial-level People's Committee to direct the implementation of measures to control people returning from areas with Covid-19 cases in the community in accordance with the provisions of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control. 19 and the Ministry of Health.

Accordingly, all people from provinces and cities that have recorded cases of Covid-19 in the community are required to make medical declarations truthfully and take responsibility for declared information to classify dangerous subjects; implement medical isolation for those with close contacts of confirmed cases of Covid-19 (F1) or close contacts of cases of F0 (F2).

For  those returning from locations with Covid-19 cases, blockade and isolation areas, due to having Covid-19 cases during the period as announced by provincial-level People's Committee, they are also required to implement health monitoring and limit contact with people around them, not participate in mass gathering activities for 14 days.

If there are signs of fever, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath or loss of taste, you must immediately notify the nearest medical facility for instructions on timely health management.
