Meeting and presenting Tet gifts to 100 victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin
On January 8, provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin held a meeting to commemorate the 21st anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (January 10, 2004 - January 10, 2025). The meeting was attended by leaders from provincial departments, agencies and representatives of victims from districts and cities across the province.
Provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin was established in 2007. Over the past 17 years, the association continuously strived to overcome numerous challenges, utilizing various methods and measures to organize its activities and successfully complete its assigned tasks. The organizational system of the association was steadily strengthened, operating effectively.
The associations at all levels made significant efforts, strengthening its advisory and feedback work on issues and challenges in the implementation process, contributing positive and timely voices to help local Party committees, authorities, mass organizations and the public work together to care for the victims. The mobilization of social resources to support the victims achieved notable results, especially during annual holidays and festivals.
To promptly encourage and support the victims and their families, providing them with better conditions to celebrate the 2025 Tet festival warmly, provincial Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin presented gifts to 100 victims from 9 districts and cities in the province. Each gift included VND 1 million in cash and essential goods worth 500,000 VND.
