On January 7, the Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association of Binh Duong province coordinated with the Provincial Military Command to hold a meeting to celebrate the 45th anniversary of Victory in the War to Protect the Southwest Border of the Fatherland and with the Cambodian army and people fighting against the genocidal regime (January 7, 1979 - January 7, 2024). At the program, delegates looked back on the Victory in protecting the Southwestern border of the Fatherland and joining the Cambodian army and people in defeating the genocidal regime. In addition, delegates were also informed about the world, regional and domestic situations, and some news about the Vietnam-Cambodia relationship after the election of the 7th Cambodian National Assembly and the appointment of the new Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Manet.
On this occasion, the Central Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association awarded certificates of merit to 4 groups and 12 individuals for their outstanding achievements in building and organizing association activities in 2023; presented the medal "For Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship" to individuals belonging to Provincial Vietnam - Cambodia Friendship Association.
