Meeting to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the Youth Volunteer Force's Traditional Day

On July 12, the Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers held a meeting to celebrate the 74th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnam Volunteers (July 15, 1950 - July 15, 2024). Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, and Nguyen Thi Tuyet Minh, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Committee, attended the meeting.

Delegates looked back on the heroic traditions of the Vietnamese volunteers in general and Binh Duong volunteers in particular. The Provincial Association of Former Youth Volunteers currently has 9 member organizations at district and city levels and 40 organizations at commune, ward and town levels, with a total of nearly 800 members. In recent times, the Association of Former Youth Volunteers at all levels in the province actively carried out movements and campaigns, especially the campaign "Former Youth Volunteers vow to set a shining example of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's moral example and style"; members actively propagated the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; the campaign to build new rural areas and civilized cities, build cultural families...

Associations of Former Youth Volunteers at all levels also actively coordinate to resolve issues and give policy allowances to members. Up to now, more than 500 members have benefited from the policy, reaching a rate of over 93%. The association has also coordinated the construction and repair of hundreds of solidarity houses and awarded many gratitude gifts.

On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union’s Standing Committee and Provincial Youth Volunteer’s Command presented 50 gifts to members of the Former Youth Volunteer Association.
