Memorial service and burial for martyrs ‘remains collected in North Tan Uyen district’s Binh My commune to be held on April 24

On the afternoon of April 17, Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice-Chairman of provincial People's Committee, Head of the provincial Steering Committee 515 chaired a meeting to prepare the memorial service and burial of the remains of martyrs of the Division 7 under the Army Corps 4, who died in May 1968 and discovered in Binh My commune’s Choi Dung hamlet in North Tan Uyen district.

Accordingly, the memorial service and burial of the remains of martyrs will be held on April 23 at provincial Martyrs’ Cemetery. Speaking at the meeting, Mr.Ha requested agencies, units and localities to promote their roles and responsibilities in organizing, preparing and ensuring the event that will be held solemnly, thoughtfully and safely.

It is known that after nearly a month of organizing the search for martyrs' remains in Binh My commune’s Choi Dung hamlet in North Tan Uyen district, provincial Military Command discovered and collected 20 martyrs’ remains, 20 water bottles, 17 pairs of rubber sandals and many other memorials.
