Minh Hoa’s total area of growing fruit trees up 50%

Trinh Dinh Toan, Chairman of Minh Hoa communal People’s Committee in Dau Tieng district said that the local economy in the first half of 2017 continued maintaining stable growth. Rubber was still a main kind of crop plant of the commune with 6,832 hectares, cashew with 98 hectares. The commune’s total area of growing fruit trees was 91 hectares, up 50% compared to the same period last year.

Also according to Mr.Toan, the communal People’s Committee coordinated with provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to open training courses on how to plant and tend fruit trees. Additionally, the communal Farmers’ Association worked with Green and Green Fertilizer Company to organize a seminar on ways to plant and tend various crop plants.
