Miss ASEAN TV Charming beauty pageant wraps up

Actress Van Trang representing Vietnam won three prizes in the Miss ASEAN TV Charming beauty pageant 2011 which ended in HCM City on March 12.

 Addressing the awards ceremony, Van Trang, the actress in the “War of Brides” said that the pageant gave her valuable experiences and a deeper understanding of ASEAN people, and culture as well as strengthening friendship and solidarity among Southeast Asian nations.

  Trang won the second prize, as well as prizes for being the most popular and most friendly candidate. This year’s top prize went to Brunei candidate Petri Norizah Binti Ibnoriza while Rose Ann Uy Aguilar from the Philippines took the third prize.

 

Other prizes such as Best Traditional Costume, Most Fashionable and the Most Beautiful Evening Gown were also awarded.
