Early February 6, Nguyen Hoang Thao, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, Head of provincial Steering Board for Covid-19 Prevention and Control led a delegation to inspect Thu Dau Mot city’s organization of Covid-19 prevention and control. Nguyen Van Dong, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of Thu Dau Mot city’s Party Committee; Nguyen Thu Cuc, Chairwoman of the city’s People’s Committee, Head of the city’s Steering Board for Covid-19 Prevention and Control together with Phu Hoa ward’s Steering Board for Covid-19 Prevention and Control received the delegation.

The delegation realizes all processes required by medical agencies before entering the isolation zone

Phan Cong Khanh, Secretary of Phu Hoa ward’s Party Committee said that as of February 6, the ward had good preparations for Covid-19 prevention and control. The ward also well ensured order and security with nearly 400 police officiers and soldiers deployed at checkpoints in the local isolation zone.

With good coordination from relevant forces, especially the city’s Police Agency and Army Force, the security and order situation in the isolation zone of the ward has been maintained. They have well realized the task of guiding people to provide necessities for those who are in the isolation zone under the healthcare sector’s regulations against the pandemic…

Regarding the results of the local Covid-19 prevention and control, Mrs.Cuc said that the city has seriously implemented all plans against the pandemic at the requirements of provincial Steering Board for Covid-19 Prevention and Control.

She also said that donors and the whole society have joined hands in supporting money, commodities, especially necessities for people in the local isolation zone, helping them feel secure for daily activities during the isolation period.

Whilst, Mr.Dong said that the city has mobilized and upheld the strengthen of the local entire political system in order to reach the highest results for Covid-19 prevention and control. The city has closely monitored the organization of the local functional forces for Covid-19 prevention and control. The ward’s Steering Board for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has been ordered to receive people’s information about their demands for daily activities in the isolation zone.

Along with inside forces, Youth Union members and volunteer students from Thu Dau Mot University have also supported outside ones to well ensure propaganda work, helping the people in isolation zone feel secure to comply with isolation regulations suggested by the medical sector.

Speaking at the working session, Mr.Thao encouraged police officers and soldiers guarding around the clock in the isolatiobn zone; spoke highly good coordination between relevant forces in the fight against Covid-10 pandemic…

He also showed the gratitude of the local Party, government to units, donors and people from all strata for their efforts in supporting necessities for the people in the isolation zone.

Mt.Thao said: “In the urgent period, the entire Party, army and people are determined to well realize measures against the pandemic. This will be a very special spring for the local Party, government and people since the national liberation. With drastic measures from the political system plus high consensus from people, it is believed that we will win in the fight against the pandemic…”.

Mr.Thao also talked, encouraged and extended regards to students, volunteers and people in the isolation zone. He wanted that all of them will share difficulties with the province and together sacrifice for this Tet in order to have the next Tet festivals that will be nicer, happier and more joyful…

Talking to the people, retired officials in the isolation zone, he asked for Thu Dau Mot city to mobilize all resources to take care of the people living there, helping them welcome a more sufficient Tet.
