Model war veterans lead the emulation movements

In the morning of January 20, the Veterans Association of Phu My ward in Thu Dau Mot city held the 7th Congress of Delegates in 2022-2027 tenure. This is the unit chosen by the Thu Dau Mot city Association as a point to evaluate, learn from, and give general direction to associations in the whole city.

In the past 5 years, promoting the tradition of "loyalty, solidarity, exemplary, and innovation", officers and members of the Veterans Association of Phu My ward always uphold the sense of responsibility and make efforts to overcome real difficulties to successfully fulfill the tasks and targets set out by the General Meeting's Resolution. The work of gathering and uniting veterans and implementing the patriotic emulation movements of "exemplary veterans", "veterans helping to reduce poverty and doing well in the economy" and carry out political tasks of the  localities to achieve good results.

For the 2022-2027 tenure, the Veterans Association of Phu My ward has set many targets to strive for. Specifically, member development reached 90% or more of the eligible subjects for admission to the association. 100% of association staff have been trained and fostered. Every year, 100% of the branches are clean and strong; 98% of the members are exemplary; and 98% of the veteran's families are cultural families. Annually the number of better-off and rich households increases by 10% or more without poor households.
