Under the Politburo’s Directive No.5 on “Acceleration of studying and following late President Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality and lifestyle”, the district’s Women’s Union over the past two years organized a lot of effective models, namely “Raising piggy banks to buy health insurance and help poor women”, “Women helping each other in economic development”, “Women saving wasted materials”….
Among these models, “Raising piggy banks to buy health insurance and help poor women” was the most significant model with a goal of getting 100% of officials with health insurance cards by the end of 2017. After one year of implementing the model, the district’s Women’s Union collected 556 piggy banks from its branches and groups with more than VND170million, offering help to members with difficult circumstances.
