Moon cake market starts early

According to many sellers, moon cakes are sold to anticipate consumers' demand to enjoy them early. Therefore, at this time, products are not rich in designs and flavors.

This year's moon cake prices are said to have increased slightly compared to last year. Among them, a cake weighing 150 - 200g ranges from 50,000 - 200,000 VND/piece. In addition, modern moon cakes with quantities of 3 - 6 cakes/box, cost 200,000 - 500,000 VND/box, especially high-end cake boxes cost from 500,000 - 5,000,000 VND/box. The reason for the increase in cake prices is explained by the fact that the price of baking ingredients this year is higher than last year.

However, the seller said that if customers buy in large quantities, they will receive a percentage discount depending on the order, so this year's moon cake price will not increase compared to 2023.
