More entertaining and meaningful playgrounds are needed

Update: 13-12-2012 | 00:00:00
Joining up the jubiliant atmosphere of the 10th National Delegation Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth’s League term 2012-2017 from December 11-14 at My Dinh National Conference Hall in Ha Noi, youths have shown their expectations for more development. Pham Hong Thang, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Youth’s League: Activities should be reformed and created In the current stage, reforms and creativity play their parts as urgent factors for any action. Activities of the Youth’s League are of no exception. We have to reform and we have to create to better be companions to the youths and the children. Education is our key because each age has their own psychology and needs, thus, the Youth’s League officers should do their homework, researching for the needs to avoid red-tape and subjective decision in the organization of activities. In my opinion, the central organization should orient the activities to less administrative-based with less pressure on achievements of quantity but on quality. We should test the models supporting workers from outside the province and should accept the facts of physical immigration so that we could give out suitable policies. Tran Thi Chau Phuong, senior student of Vietnamese Studies of Binh Duong University: Students need soft skills For the past time, Youth’s League activities in universities see new features where students enthusiastically join in, especially the friendly learning environment. In this new school year, the university Youth’s League has established programs to greet newcomers and light up their dreams. The volunteer teams have also established to support entrance exam winners to be familiar with their learning environment. I am hopeful that the central Youth’s League shall promulgate more targets to make the organization trustful to the youths, particularly in more playgrounds that are meaningful and entertaining. They can train themselves with soft skills in such playgrounds. The fact is, many students are lack of sexual knowledge leading to dangerous behaviors for themselves and the society. Thus, the organization should boost up the soft skills they need. Nguyen Minh Tam, Secretary of Hiep Thanh Ward Youth’s League in Thu Dau Mot City: More cares for youths being away from home I am an officer, therefore, I have to create good models for activities to lure the youths to our organization. I am amazed by the devotion and enthusiasm of the participants. I will propose to the central Youth’s League to take more cares of the youths being away from home as well as the establishment of more playgrounds to stick up the ties. Dao Thi Quynh Nga, a worker of VRG Khai Hoan JSC in Lai Hung Commune of Ben Cat District: Weekend playgrounds needed I am a youth working for an enterprise located in the province. I realize that the workers as myself do not know where to play for the weekend. We even do not know about any training courses or whatsoever that are meaningful to us in our free time. I am hopeful that the Youth’s League organization should take more cares of us by establishing more playgrounds and training courses. Nguyen Kim Phung, Secretary of Uyen Hung Townlet Youth’s League in Tan Uyen District: Policies needed to lure more youths to the organization The upcoming event is meaningful to us nation wide. I am hopeful that this time congress shall create more policies to attract participations of the youths in a bid of promoting creativity and enthusiasm.
