Over the past five years, Dau Tieng district’s Vocational Training Center teamed up with the local functional agencies to organize 79 vocational training classes for 1,822 learners who are demobees, members of the Youth Union and other mass organizations.

The above classes focused on industries of household sewing, hairdressing, rubber latex-tapping techniques, motorbike repairing, household electricity, cooking, mush-room growing techniques, veterinary…Noticeably, there were 40 classes on rubber latex-tapping techniques with 877 learners. It is known that this industry absorbed most learners.

According to statistics by the district’s Vocational Training Center, 528 out of 1,822 learners attending the above classes were offered stable jobs.
