More than 10 billion VND of discounted goods to support union members and workers

In order to share difficulties with trade union members and workers affected by the Covid-19, provincial Labor Confederation implemented a social security program to support union members and workers. Thanks to this program, only over one past month, there were hundreds of thousands of union members and workers could purchase goods with discounted prices and receive support from welfare organizations with a total value of more than VND10 billion.

Previously, provincial Labor Confederation actively contacted and negotiated with partners, business owners in the area to sign this welfare program. Accordingly, businesses reduced the selling price by 10 - 60% compared to the listed prices to union members and workers when buying products at agents and stores of these companies. Namely, provincial Labor Confederation cooperated with Agape welfare organization to implement the program "Stabilization, savings and welfare", offered more than 100,000 discount coupons of 200,000 VND / 1 package of discounted products, including 5 items (rice, cooking oil, instant noodles, fish sauce and washing powder) for union members and workers. Selling price of these items without discount is 510,000 VND / 1 package.

Besides, trade unions in the province cooperated with Khai Minh Trading Company and Kim Sang Rice to implement a discount program, give vouchers to workers; cooperated with CP Vietnam Livestock Company to reduce 30-40% selling price on each type of chicken eggs for workers...
