More than 190 billion VND invested in electricity projects

 Binh Duong Power Company (PCBD) informed that in 2023, this unit was assigned by EVN to plan more than VND281 billion of construction investment capital to implement 38 power grid projects, including 11 110kV projects, 27 medium and low voltage projects, and 2 fixed asset procurement projects for production business. The implementation progress of power grid works is being accelerated by PCBD, of which there are 14 transition works, new projects are in the investment preparation stage. The total value of implementation so far is nearly VND49 billion, reaching 17.37% of the planned value.

Also, according to PCBD, in the first quarter of 2023, commercial electricity output was 3,313 million kWh, reaching 20.39% of the plan. In which, commercial power output supplied to industry decreased by 10.95% over the same period in 2022, accounting for 74.77%. Power savings in March 2023 reached 22.29 million kWh, accumulated amount is 78.64 million kWh, accounting for 2.32% of commercial electricity output.
