Yesterday August 2nd, PPC Standing Committee held a meeting with People’s Council Standing Committee of localities at Phu Giao district with attendance of more than 200 delegates. The meeting was about 2 main issues, i.e. propaganda of People’s Council activities and arrangement of trusting poll of PC-assigned incumbents according to NA’s Resolution No 35. Ms. Tran Thi Kim Van discussed with delegates after the meeting PPC Standing Committee articulated propaganda of PC activities, namely praised mass media for timely propaganda issues relating to activities of PC at all levels. Economic – Budget Affairs Board Deputy Head of PPc Mr. Nguyen Quoc Cuong reported on achievements of NA Resolution No 35 implementation in terms of trusting poll of NA, PC-approved incumbents. According to Mr. Cuong, up to now, PPC, PCs of 6 localities (except Ben Cat district) and 64/91 PCs at grassroots levels organized meetings for trusting poll. Basically, trusting poll implement at localities across the province carried out objectively, impartially, seriously, legitimately. At the meeting, Party Standing Committee Member cum PPC Vice Chairman Ms. Tran Thi Kim Van formulated, the meeting helped delegates to learn lessons from practical work, especially propaganda on mass media.
