More than 548,000 students in Binh Duong happily welcome the new school year

Morning September 5, all schools in Binh Duong province from preschool to high school and continuing education levels simultaneously held the opening ceremony of the new school year 2023-2024. On the opening day of the new school year, leaders of Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province attended the opening ceremonies and celebrated with teachers and students at provincial educational establishments. 

In the 2023-2024 school year, the whole province has 732 schools and continuing education centers. The total number of students at all levels from preschool to high school and continuing education in the province is about more than 548,000, an increase of more than 37,000 students compared to the previous school year. At present, schools in the province have basically met all conditions for the new school year. In particular, in terms of material facilities, Provincial Department of Education and Training has collaborated well with departments, branches, localities and units to build more and upgrade facilities to meet teaching and learning demands in the new school year. Education offices at localities completed preparation phases to welcome students on the first day of new school year, ready to enter a new school year with joy, safety and success.

Nguyen Thi Nhat Hang, Director of Provincial Department of Education and Training, said that to implment the direction of Ministry of Education and Training, this year's opening ceremony was held briefly. However, there were fun activities for students to participate in, helping them enter the new school year in a more joyful and meaningful way.
