More than 780,000 people join compulsory social insurance

According to provincial Social Insurance (SI), up to Mar 31, the province had about 788,773 people joining compulsory social insurance, up 5.64% over the same period last year. The participant number of unemployment insurance and health insurance increased, namely unemployment insurance 779,939 persons, up 5.8% over the same period last year; and health insurance 1,434,058 persons (including household health insurance is: 157,526 persons), up 5.38% over the same period last year.

Also in the first quarter of 2016, 155 new units joined compulsory social insurance with 2,364 employees; including 135 non-State-owned enterprises with 1,691 employees and 20 FDI enterprises with 673 employees.
