More than VND1.5 billion in scholarships awarded to students overcoming difficulties

On September 27, Sponsoring Council of Provincial Children's Fund organized the 2023 Mid-Autumn Festival and awarded scholarships to students overcoming difficulties and children living in difficult circumstances in Binh Duong province for the 22nd time. The ceremony was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee; Provincial Party Standing Committee members; leaders of departments, branches, and nearly 2,000 children in the province.

Provincial leaders take photos with businesses and individuals who generously supported Provincial Children's Fund.

The program included special musical performances imbued with traditional features. Additionally, 397 "Go to school with me" scholarships (each worth VND1 million), 294 scholarships for junior high school, high school and university levels (worth nearly VND1 billion); 31 bicycles and 9 computers were awarded to pupils and students. The program also gave long-term sponsorship to 56 orphans due to the Covid-19, worth VND263 million; gave 1,080 gifts to children living in difficult circumstances, worth VND810 million... The total value of scholarships, gifts, long-term sponsorship... awarded at the program was VND2,439 billion, of which the scholarships alone were worth more than VND1.5 billion.

Speaking at the program, Ha encouraged all children in the province during the Mid-Autumn Festival, encouraged children living in difficult circumstances to improve their lives.
