Mother Vo Thi Ha posthumously awarded “heroic Vietnamese mother” title

Bau Bang district has just organized a ceremony to posthumously bestow the “heroic Vietnamese mother” title to mother Vo Thi Ha, born in 1902 in Chanh Phu Hoa ward.

At the ceremony, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of the district’s Party Committee read a decision on posthumously bestowing the “heroic Vietnamese mother” title to mother Vo Thi Ha and handed over the title to her family.

It is known that mother Vo Thi Ha’s husband laid down in the anti-French resistance war. The ceremony aimed to opportunely memorize great contributions and sacrifices by the mother for the cause of national liberation on the occasion of the 41^st anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification.
