My Phuoc township Women Union excels thrift practice

 piggy banks raise funds to help poor sisters.

Over the past 5 years, the union has concretized operational contents in conformity with local characters. Through the mobilization, the union has upheld emulation movements to increase creation and solidarity.

Thrift practice and waste combat are movements strongly responded by the union members. Accordingly, the union has built effective thrift models of “saving golden books”. The model is to raise fund for building charity houses. In addition, the model of “charity rice jar” has received great response from members. The union has mobilized over 5,000 kg of rice to help 200 poor people. And, the union has mobilized donors to grant 5 charity houses to needy members. 

Nguyen Thi Hong Nghia, vice chairman of the union, said the model of “saving day for poor women”, the union has mobilized rich sisters to help needy ones and launched piggy bank movement to help poor people and orphans.

The above significant deeds have showed high results of “studying and following Ho Chi Minh’s moral examples”.
