Nakisco’s 2nd factory to be put into operation in Q2, 2011

Nam Kim Steel Joint Stock Company (Nakisco) in Thuan An district expects to put its second factory into operation in the Dong An II Industrial Park in Q2, 2011, according to company General Director Ho Minh Quang.

This is one of Vietnam’s top steel factories with five production lines having the  average capacity of between 100,000 and 200,000 tons a year. All of the factory’s equipment is imported from advanced countries with a total value of more than VND600bln.

Established in 2002, Nakisco is specialized in manufacturing various zinc and color-plated corrugated iron. Its products has been strongly consumed in southern provinces and cities and been expanding to central-northern provinces and cities. In 2010, its total revenue reached around VND2.35trillion.

The goal of the company in 2011 and the following years is to reach the average growth by 13% in both revenue and profit.
