On Sept. 20, Binh Duong water supply and environment company held an inauguration ceremony of Nam Binh Duong solid waste treatment plant at 1B hamlet, Chanh Phu Hoa commune, Ben Cat district.The plant has a capacity of 400 tons per day for treating household waste, 150 tons per day for industrial waste, 300kg per hour for medical waste and many more. The project has a total investment capital of more than VND480bil, VND184bil of which is funded by Finland government through ODA capital.Addressing the inauguration ceremony, the provincial People’s Committee vice chairman Tran Thanh Liem expressed thanks to Vietnamese government, misnitries and agencies’ assistance as well as sponsor of Finland government for their help for this project. The provincial People’s Committee hopes to continue receiving assistance of the Government, ministries, agencies and sponsors to help Binh Duong complete the remaining items.Reported by D.Chi – Translated by A.C
