After seven years of operation, Nam Kim Steel Joint Stock Co. (Nakisco) has affirmed its trademark and been considered one of Binh Duong-based typical businesses well realizing social and charity activities.
Nakisco is specialized in manufacture and trade of various zincs-plated and corrugated iron and colored corrugated iron in Thuan An district. The company’s products have distributed to customers across Vietnam and in several Southeast Asian countries. After seven years of development, Nakisco has constantly improved production capacity and invested state-of-the-art equipment to raise the output and quality of its products at customers’ demand.
In addition to effective business operations, Nakisco has taken good care of the lives of workers and paid attention to the lives of the poor, especially those who are in need of housing. In 2009 alone, Nakisco visited, presented gifts and money to people in flood-hit areas in Binh Son district in the central province of Quang Ngai with a total cost of VND270mln. The company also cooperated with Binh Duong Radio-Television Station to build and donate 24 houses of compassion worth VND30mln each to the poor.
Nakisco also worked with the “Arms of compassion” program of Binh Duong Radio-Television Station to visit and award 100 scholarships worth VND2mln each to would-be university students in the central province of Quang Ngai last July. At the scholarship granting ceremony, company General Director Ho Minh Quang committed: “Among these pupils, the company will further give financial support for those who are successful in the upcoming university entrance exams with regular training”. The company also donated VND60mln to Binh Thuan province for building 3 gratitude and charity houses for the poor in Phu Quy island district.
Apartedly, Nakisco has made contributions to the “House of compassion” program organized by Binh Duong Radio-Television Station. Thanks to high determination and good development strategies, Nakisco last year overcame difficulties and gained growth in all aspects. Social charity doings done by the company over the past time also partially shared difficulties with the poor and expressed the spirit of “mutual affection and assistance”…
