The final round of the National mini-football tournament for children, the 2010 Yamaha Cup, will take place in Thai Nguyen province from August 6-14.

The event was co-organised by the Nhi Dong (Children) newspaper and the Vietnam Football Federation following the success of the national junior football tournament, which ended in Binh Dinh province in July.

 

Fifteen teams will compete in the final round, including Ha Giang, Bac Giang, Tuyen Quang, Viet Tri, T&T-Thai Binh, Viettel, Thanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Da Nang, Ninh Thuan, Sanna-Khanh Hoa, Bac Lieu, Long An, HCM City, the host Thai Nguyen, and defending champions Thai Nguyen.

 

They will play on a round robin basis to select the two top winners in each group for the semi-finals.

 

The organising board will present one first prize, one second prize, two third prizes, and two individual prizes for the best striker and the top scorer.
