National squad lineup announced

Newly-appointed coach Phan Thanh Hung has unveiled the list of 22 members of the national football squad to play friendlies against stronger China and Hong Kong teams.

 Following is the lineup of the squad:

Goalie: Hong Son, Manh Dung

Defenders: Phuoc Vinh, Bat Hieu, Viet Cuong, Dinh Dong, Minh Duc, Hong Tien, Quang Thanh, Chi Cong

Midfielders: Ngoc Duy, Duy Nam, Sy Cuong, Van Quat, Trong Hoang, Van Binh, Thanh Luong, Thanh Hung, Tan Tai.

Strikers: Anh Duc, Viet Thang, Cong Vinh

No new faces have been called in this time, and all the players come from the national Olympic squad and the national team. Six of the 22 players come from Hanoi T&T FC.

Among the players, Van Binh, Ngoc Duy, Duy Nam, Hong Tien, Bat Hieu, Phuoc Vinh and Sy Cuong have been summoned for the first time.

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) has approved the list and sent it to the General Department of Sports and Physical Training which is expected to release a decision soon to summon players for training due on June 4.
