Nearly 1,700 athletes run around "Orchard Road"

Early May 21, Thuan An city’s open cross country tournament 2023 took place in the  Cau Ngang area in Hung Dinh ward.

With the theme of "Orchard Road", the tournament attracted nearly 1,700 athletes from agencies, units, schools and localities in and out of the city. They were divided into 2 age groups from 13 to 39 years old and over 39 years old to compete in 2 distances of 5km and 10km around the orchards of Hung Dinh and An Thanh wards.

The athletes were given strength with many free stalls on water and fruits. Each athlete received a souvenir medal from the Organizing Board of the "Lai Thieu in ripen fruit season" festival 2023.

The tournament was organized by Thuan An city’s Center for Culture, Information and Sports in order to continue implementing the campaign of “All people exercise their bodies following great Uncle Ho's example in the 2021-2030 period”. The award also contributed to promoting the beautiful images of the local famous orchards.
