Nearly 200 people in North Tan Uyen give blood

Early March 9, North Tan Uyen district’s Red Cross Society and Youth Union in collaboration with HCM city-based Cho Ray hospital’s Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center held the first voluntary blood donation campaign of 2018.

The campaign absorbed 250 volunteers, including officials, civil servants, members of the Youth Union and other mass organizations in the district. After being medically checked, 199 were eligible to give blood. As a result, the organizers collected 199 units of blood, equivalent to 69,650 milliliters of blood.
