Nearly 400 people in Bau Bang participate in voluntary blood donation

Bau Bang district’s Red Cross Society in collaboration with Ho Chi Minh city-based Cho Ray Hospital’s Blood Transfusion Center organized a voluntary blood donation festival.

With the message of " A drop of blood is given; a life is saved”, the festival lured  about 400 people, including volunteers, cadres, civil servants, officials, armed forces, Youth Union members, laborers and people across the district. As a result, through screening, 359 people met the criteria for blood donation and Cho Ray Hospital’s Blood Transfusion Center received 359 units of blood.

Over the past years, the district’s voluntary blood donation campaign had the active and enthusiastic participation of officials, Youth Union members and people. This was a very meaningful activity to arouse the spirit of mutual affection, mutual love, showing noble deeds, kindness, sense of responsibility of each individual for the life of the community.
