Nearly 98% of foreign employees in industrial parks licensed

According to the provincial Management Board of Industrial Parks, the total number of employees working in Binh Duong is up to now 506,964 - an increase of 3,254 compared to the end of 2022. Foreign-invested enterprises are accounted for 84.23% of the quantity by 427,285 employees and employees working in domestic enterprises for 15.77% of 79,679 employees. The average income of a direct production worker is VND 7,450,000 a month, increasing by 2.05% over the same period.

In the first 6 months of the year, the Industrial Park Management Board has also granted 2,188 new permits - an increase of 0.8% compared to the same period in 2022, to foreign workers. Thus, the total number of foreign workers currently having permits stands at 11,829, accounting for 97.8% of the total number of employees working in industrial parks of the province.
